JUDY M. WRIGHT

Judy Marlene Turner Wright, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014, surrounded by her loving family.
The daughter of Jess Jack and Juanita Estella Parsons Turner, she was born in Atlantic, April 9, 1945, and attended school in Atlantic. She was united in marriage to Barry Wright in 1961, in Atlantic, Iowa. They lived in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Kirtland, New Mexico and eventually settled back home in Atlantic. Judy enjoyed camping, spending time with her grandchildren, antique shopping and the occasional trip to the casino.
Surviving are her husband, Barry of Atlantic; a son, Allen (Stephanie) of Papillion, NE, and children Bonnie & Alex and two great grandchildren, Blake & Emersyn; two daughters, Jenny (Carl) Dolch of Atlantic and children, Levi, Tyler & Chelsey and great grandchildren, Wrangler, Alexis, Lucas & Nick; and Jodi (Rob) Kirchner of Atlantic, IA and children, Eric & Taylor and great grandchild, Morgan; her brother, Jerry Turner of LaVista, NE; her sisters, Wanda Robinson of Lake Stevens, WA and Kathie Rose of Atlantic; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Melody; her parents, Jess & Juanita Turner; a sister, Patricia Manke; her mother-in-law, Vivian Sheard; her father-in-law, James Wright; a sister-in-law, Mary Claire Turner; and three brothers-in-law, Dennis Anderson, Larry Manke & Tony Bjorn.
To honor Judy's request, there will be no service. There will be a Celebration of Life gathering, Tuesday, January 28, from 11-2 at the United Methodist Church, 800 Poplar Street in Atlantic. There will be open visitation at Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic on Sunday, January 26 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM and Monday, January 27 from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
