Elnora Wright

Former resident, Elnora Wright, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2005 at her granddaughter"s home in Preston, Missouri.Elnora was born in Ailene, Oklahoma, the daughter of Joseph and Maude (Norris) Rexroat, on November 8, 1918. She left Oklahoma in a covered wagon to live in Iowa at the age of eight. She was schooled in Pacific Junction, Iowa. Elnora was married to John Franklin Wright, on September 2, 1939, in Maryville, MO.Elnora took wonderful care of her family and they had a great time fishing, picnicking and camping. She enjoyed spending time with her gardening and collecting poems. Elnora spent over 30 years of her life caring for the ailing in private homes, nursing facilities and most recently at the Atlantic Memorial Hospital.She is survived by two sisters, Goldie Culley and Maggie Miller; one brother, Grafton Rexroat; three sons, Roger Wright of Atlantic, IA, Dennis Wright of Hernando, MS and Ernie Wright and his wife Cindy of Hayden, Co; one daughter, Joyce Libby of Lewis, IA; eight grandchildren, Shelly Miller and husband Clayton of Preston, MO, Shane Wright of Jonesboro, AR, Larry Libby and wife Barbara of Atlantic, Tracy Wright and husband Curt of Atlantic, Kristy Libby of Atlantic, John Wright of Craig, CO, Bonnie Turner and husband Josh of Delta, CO, Jessica Horne and husband Gary of Parker, CO; fifteen great grandchildren, Hunter Wright, Cassidy Carneal, Will Carneal, Logan Carneal, Matthew Wright, Trenton Lee, Josiah Wright, Jonathon Wright, Tianna Wright, Kaelyn Libby, Shayla Libby, Seth Libby, Kaelob Libby, Haley Wright, Hannah Wright and many, many nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her husband John Wright; son Kenneth Wright; granddaughter Rebel Lynn Wright, daughter-in-law Margie Wright, brother Lavern Rexroat and five sisters, Mae Miner, Mable Nosencable, Rosella Anderson, Mildred McDonald and Joetta Hadden.Donations in Elnora"s memory can be made to the Benton County Hospice, PO Box 935, Warsaw, MO 65355.Funeral InformationVisitation: Wed, Mar 30, 6 - 8PM at RolandsFuneral: 3/31/2005, 10:00:00 AM at RolandsBurial: Atlantic Cemetery
