George P. Worrall
George Paul Worrall, 73 years old, of Glenwood, Iowa passed away Monday, October 9, 2006 at the Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA.George was born April 14, 1933. On November 1, 1968, George was married to his first wife, Betty J. McCall. He was blessed with two stepdaughters from this marriage, Bonnie Campbell of Mitchell, NE and Rose Campbell of Council Bluffs, IA. Also surviving from this marriage are three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The marriage ended in divorce on July 30, 1992.He married a second wife, Pat Hartley, on April 5, 1992. The four step children from this marriage were Jackie Anderson of Exira, IA, Donde Utley and husband Shane from Willow Springs, NC, Carol Hartley Nelson and a son Steve; four step grandchildren are Mike and Kathy Anderson of Exira, IA, Rhea Nelson of Bailey, CO and one baby from Willow Springs, NC.George married Betty A. Gardner on August 8, 2002. Two step children from this marriage are Becky Polan and husband Jim, Jody Husted and wife Doris; six step grandchildren, Cortney, Chris, Carian, Colton and Crystal Polan of Atlantic, IA and Mindy Polan and friend Matt; two brothers-in-law, Roger Clapper and wife, Jean, and Garland Clapper and wife, Liz, all of Omaha, NE.His was preceded in death by his parents, a stepdaughter, Carol Hartley Nelson in 2006; a stepson, Joseph Campbell and his second wife, Pat Hartley in March of 1999.Services for George will be held Monday, October 16, at 10:30 A.M. at the Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic. A visitation will be held Sunday evening from 6:30 to 7:30P.M.at the funeral home.
