Randall L. Williams
Randall Lee Williams, 53, Atlantic resident, passed away Tuesday, December 5, at the Cass County Memorial Hospital.Randall was born February 9, 1953 in Creston, IA the son of Edwin Levi and Mary Lou (Dwyer) Williams. He attended BridgewaterâÂÂFontanelle Schools and graduated with the Class of 1971.After high school, he left as a boy to harvest wheat throughout the Midwest states, and he came back a man. From there he took on many professions â silo building, iron worker, truck driver, carpenter, and worked as a cowboy in Wyoming. He most recently worked for the bridge crew on the Cass County Secondary Roads.On June 18, 1977 Randy married Cindy Lou Mallo in Mason City, Iowa. To this union , two boys were born, Brian and Brett. Both boys are now firefighters for the U.S. Air Force. Randy was best known for his quick wittedness and for telling jokes and stories. Randy had a huge heart â especially when it came to family.He enjoyed all outdoor activities, and had a special spot for training his hunting dogs. Watching Nebraska football was always a Saturday main event and through the week he enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune. His world revolved around his son's activities â he was so very proud of them.Randall is survived by his two sons, Brian Lee Williams and wife Ashley of Knob Noster, MO and Brett Eugene Williams of Anchorage, AK; his parents, Edwin and Mary Lou Williams of Bridgewater, IA; his 4 siblings, Curtis Allen Williams and wife Debbie of Shenandoah, IA, Douglas Eugene Williams and wife Amy of Davie, FL, Kryste l K.
