All the while the couple raised their girls, Wayne established and grew several successful businesses along with a lifetime of farming. Wheatley and wife Elleen Wheatley; his brother Gerald L. Wheatley and wife Sally of Massena, IA; and sisters, Jone Lay of West Minister, CO, Juda Saemisch and husband Richard, of Perry, IA, and Jolene Allen and husband Clay of Cambridge, IL.
