All the while the couple raised their girls, Wayne established and grew several successful businesses along with a lifetime of farming. Wheatley and wife Elleen Wheatley; his brother Gerald L. Wheatley and wife Sally of Massena, IA; and sisters, Jone Lay of West Minister, CO, Juda Saemisch and husband Richard, of Perry, IA, and Jolene Allen and husband Clay of Cambridge, IL. There are also many nephews and nieces.
