Merle Wallace

Merle Eugenia Wallace, age 94, of Atlantic, Iowa passed away Friday, December 16th, 2005 at Heritage House just ten days shy of her 95th birthday.The daughter of Lester and Eugenia McGaffin Bowen, Merle was born December 26th, 1910 in rural Cass County. She was married on October 31, 1942 in Rockport, Missouri to Graham Wallace. At the time of his death in November of 1999, they had been married for 57 years.Merle was a member of the United Church of Christ, the Benevolent Protective Order of Elk"s DOES, the Eastern Star and the Cass County Hospital Auxiliary.
