Dennis Turnure

Denny Turnure, 57, a resident of Adair passed away early Sunday morning, December 28, 2003 at the Cass County Memorial Hospital. Denny was born the son of Earl and Jeanette (Gaines) Turnure in Atlantic, Iowa on December 5, 1946. Denny graduated from the Atlantic High School in 1964 and played football and baseball at Morningside college in Sioux City, Iowa. He taught Math and Alegebra in Sioux City and at Hoover High School in Des Moines before Adair-Casee High School. Also, at one time he was employed with Iowa Realty in Des Moines. Denny is survived by a son Michael B. Turnure of West Des Moines, Iowa; a brother Earl Jr. and wife Sally of Independence, Missouri; two sisters Karen Turnure of Atlantic and Diana Gude an husband Fred of Griswold, Iowa; one auntBerrnice Gaines of Atlantic and one uncle Howard Turnure of Texas; several nieces and nephews.
