Ross Thulin

Ross Francis Thulin, 89, of Atlantic, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2001, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Omaha.The son of Nels Christian and Thresa Marie (Startzer) Thulin, Ross was born November 4, 1911 in Pleasant Township. Ross attended Pleasant Township country school. He was united in marriage to Lillian Dorothy Mueller on August 27, 1940 at the Little Brown Church. He farmed around Elliott and Red Oak and moved to Oregon in 1955 until 1961. He attended the Evangelical Free Church of Atlantic.Surviving are his wife, Lillian; one daughter, Laraine Thulin of Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers Earl, James and John.Funeral InformationGraveside services for Ross will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2001, at 10:30 A.M. at the Pleasant Township Cemetery at Griswold, Iowa with Pastor Alan Seehusen from the Evangelical Free Church in Atlantic, Iowa officiating.
