Lyle Taylor

Lyle Pringey Taylor, 87, a resident of the Atlantic Nursing and Rehab Center, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2001, at the Cass County Memorial Hospital.The son of Clarence and Carrie (Pringey) Taylor, Lyle was born July 21, 1913, in Red Oak and grew up in the Cumberland, Atlantic and Massena areas.Surviving are three nephews, Jack Patterson and his wife, Shirley, of Polk City, Florida, Robert Patterson and his wife, Ellie, of Winchester, Virginia, and Ken Taylor and his wife, Suzanne, of Seattle, Washington.He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Wilmer (at age two) and Kenneth; one sister, Lillian Patterson; and one brother-in-law, Paul Patterson.Funeral InformationGraveside services for Lyle were held Friday, May 25, 2001, at 11:00 AM at Newlons Grove Cemetery southwest of Cumberland, Iowa with Reverend Charles J. Downing of the First United Methodist Church of Atlantic, Iowa officiating.
