Destyni Starr Swanson, age four months and twenty-five days, of Atlantic, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.The daughter of Micheele Mahan and Jesse Swanson, Destyni was born on November 1, 2001 at Children's Hospital in Omaha.Surviving are her parents Michell and Jesse of Atlantic; maternal grandparents, Reid and Shelly Smith of Cumberland, IA; paternal grandparents, Lucinda and Richard Keller of Atlantic and Larry and Anna Marie Swanson of Adair, IA; maternal great-grandparents, Robert and Glenda Langer of Hancock, IA and Jacque Smith of Macedonia, IA; paternal great-grandparents, Gordon and Alice Swanson of Dayton, IA, Sherry and David Ortega of Fort Wayne, IN and Alan and Carmalee Poulin of Atlantic; paternal great-great-grandmother, Maxine Hansen of Atlantic; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.Preceding her in death were her maternal great-grandfather, Donald L. Smith; and paternal great-grandmother, Darleen Swanson.Funeral InformationServices for Destyni will be held on Friday, March 29, 2002, at the Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Ron Barnett of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Atlantic officiating. Interment will be in the Atlantic Cemetery.
