Obituary for Waneta Louise Sunderman (Sunderman)
Waneta Sunderman, age 83, of Atlantic and Lyman, Iowa area, passed away at Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic on Saturday, March 3, 2012.
Waneta Louise was born to Joseph and Louise (Schaff) Sunderman southwest of Lyman on November 10, 1928. She grew up attending Lyman country school and graduated with the Griswold High School class of 1950. Waneta took pleasure in her employment at The Pines Restaurant in Atlantic from the time she graduated from high school until 2002.
She will be remembered as being cheerful and enjoying her family very much. She was especially fond of cardinals.
Her survivors include her sister, Joan Sunderman of Atlantic and her two brothers, Elwin Sunderman and Sherwin Sunderman, both of rural Griswold. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Sheldin, who died in infancy.
