Elna Stadsvold passed away January 1. 2010 in Las Cruces, NM. She was born May 29, 1921 in Brayton, Iowa to Hans R. and Anna Larsen Hansen. She spent her adolescent years in the Brayton area. On March 21, 1945 she married Holger Wade Stadsvold. Preceding her in death were her husband, her parents, and 3 brothers, Martin, Earl and Ernest. She was survived by her sister Violet Brehmer, who died 3 weeks later on January 25, 2010.Survivors include her son Paul and his wife Sharon and daughter Alice Taylor and her husband Tom, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, Erik Stadsvold and his wife Jaime and their daughter Madeleine, Chad Stadsvold and his wife Jayme and their 2 sons Isaac and Eli, and Emily Taylor. Also surviving are 2 sister-in-laws, Frances Hansen and Alverta Hansen. Funeral InformationMemorial services will be held May 29, 2010 at 10:30am at Oak Hill Cemetery west of Brayton, Iowa with Treva Turpin of Bethany Farm near Brayton officiating.
