Orval Snyder
Orval Snyder of Atlantic, Iowa, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2011, at the Cass County Hospice Center at the age of 70 years.
Orval was born on August 22, 1941, in Springfield, MO to James and Ethel Herchal/Eckles Snyder. He grew up in the state of Oregon where he entered the U. S. Army in 1958. After his discharge, he traveled a lot in the states of California, Oregon, Texas and Louisiana where he worked in construction. He was married several times before his marriage to Brenda LaJeuness on April 1, 2005 in Reno, Nevada. Orval enjoyed tinkering with all kinds of gadgets in his free time.
Orval is survived by his wife Brenda of Atlantic; daughter, Rochelle Snyder Tucker and husband David of Franklin, TX and their children, Ashleigh, Austin and Lauren; daughter, Bridgett Tyson and husband Scott of Cypress, TX and their children, Even and Dalton; son, Jeremy Snyder of Brian, TX; stepson, Mark LaJeuness of Atlantic, IA and his children, Hanna and another one expected; stepdaughter, Starr LaJeuness of Elk Grove, CA; and stepson, Robert LaJeuness of Columbia, MD.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters and grandson, Elijah, son of Robert.
