BEULAH SKOW
Beulah E. Skow, age 92, a former resident of Marne, Iowa, passed away Tuesday morning, June 26, 2012 at the Atlantic Nursing and Rehab Center in Atlantic, Iowa.
Beulah was born on October 19, 1919 to Fedor and Clara C. Dreager Petersen near Marne, Iowa. She attended grade school at Brighton Township public school through the 8th grade then graduated from the Atlantic High School. On April 10, 1943, Beulah was united in marriage to John Herbert Skow in Papillion, Nebraska. They spent their lifetime together farming until retirement and Beulah enjoying being a farmwife. She loved her cats and especially gardening and mowing.
She is survived by a Son and daughter-in-law: Bob and Donna Skow of Atlantic; Grandchildren: Steve Skow of Marne, Amy Skow Boken of Walnut, Darci Richter and husband Doug of Atlantic, Dori Hampel and husband Greg of Villisca and Matt McKinely and wife Jessica of Albuquerque, NM; Great Grandchildren: Dylan Boken of Atlantic, Kylie Boken of Walnut, Amanda Skow of Walnut, Logan Skow of Atlantic, Brett Dennis of Atlantic, Drei Hampel of Villisca, Harley, Cash and Jax McKinley of Albuquerque, NM; Great Great Grandchildren: Ryleigh Forde of Walnut, IA and Oakley Haupert-Skow of Atlantic, IA.
She was preceded in death by her Parents: Fedor and Clara Petersen, Husband: John H. Skow; Father-In-Law: Andrew Skow; Mother-In-Law: Marie Skow; and Great Grandchild: Christopher Skow.
