Vivian Sheard

Vivian Viola Sheard, 79, of Atlantic, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2002, at her residence.The daughter of Joseph C. Landon and Eva Leona Edwards, Vivian was born July 5, 1922 in Spencer, Iowa. She grew up in Cumberland, attended Maple Valley rural school and graduated from Cumberland High School.Surviving are her children, David Wright and wife Lucille of Atlantic, Barry Wright and wife Judy of Atlantic, Dale Wright and wife Sandi of Atlantic, Tom Wright and wife Leah of Griswold, Julie Hansen and husband Curtis of Omaha, Nebraska, Patsy Annan of Atlantic, Lem Sheard and friend Tammy of Atlantic; stepdaughter, Amy Williams and husband Norris of Phoenix, Arizona; 25 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; her former husband, Lemuel Sheard.She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband and longtime friend James (Jim) Wesley Wright; two brothers, John lan and George Landon; two sisters, Susie Maye Allen and Elma Landon; and one granddaughter Melodie Wright.Roland Funeral Service -- Atlantic, IowaFuneral InformationFuneral services for Vivian will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2002, at the Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic, Iowa at 10:30 AM with Pastor Steven Sprouse of the Atlantic Church of Christ officiating.
