Mary Shaffer

Mary Ann Shaffer passed away Saturday, October 28, 2006 at the Atlantic Nursing and Rehab Center in Atlantic, Iowa at the age of 71 years.Mary Ann was born to James and Florence (Stangl) Anderson on June 7, 1935 in Atlantic.She is survived by one daughter, Sherry Foss of Las Vegas, NV and one son, Terry Shaffer and his wife Debbie of Phoenix, AZ; five grandchildren; three sisters, Kathy Ackerman of Atlantic, IA, Pat Anderson and husband, Darwin of Greenfield, IA and Susie Benshoff of Ames, IA; and a number of nieces and nephews.Mary Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Royal; two sons, Ryan & Craig Shaffer and her parents, James & Florence.Services for Mary Ann will be held Thursday, November 2, at the SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Atlantic at 10:30 A.M. There will be an open visitation at the Roland Funeral Home until Thursday morning. The family will meet with friends at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church from 9:30 until 10:30 A.M. on November 2.
