Helen Scott, 86, a resident of Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away on December 31, 2002 at the Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa.The daughter of James and Lula Bell (Forrester) Coulter, Helen was born April 16, 1916 in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania and attended school there. She was married to Frank Leroy Scott in Des Moines, Iowa.Helen lived in Atlantic, Iowa for a number of years working at the Dennis Nursing Home and attending the Nazarene Church. She lived at the Willow Heights Home and Atlantic Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Atlantic and retired in The Risen Son Christian Village in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Needle work and photography were her hobbies and she visited Alaska several times.Survivors are her daughter Linda Flury and husband Edmon; two sons, Robert Leroy Scott and James David Scott; a niece Lois Ann Pickins and other nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Armor Coulter and JamesCoulter; a sister Lois Graham; and a sister-in-law Blanche Sedelmeyer.Funeral InformationThere will be a viewing, a cremation and the remains will be interred in the Atlantic Cemetery.
