Rozanne Schwarz

ROZANNE NEARY SCHWARZ Rozanne Neary Schwarz, 72, of Falls Church, Virginia, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2009 at her home. Rozanne, the daughter of Kenneth and Constance Septer Neary, was born June 24, 1937 near Wiota, Iowa. She attended Wiota High School where she graduated in 1955 and was a member of the girl's basketball team. Rozanne was active in 4-H and music activities. She worked for Congressman Neil Smith in his Washington D.C. office and later for the Bendix company. Rozanne married Edward Schwarz April 23, 1977. They have resided in Falls Church since. Rozanne enjoyed politics, gardening and flowers. She was a member of several conservation and gardening organizations. Rozanne is survived by her husband; step-daughter, Margaret Ann Schwarz of Pontiac, MI; brother Merrill Neary and wife Carole of Omaha, NE; and five nieces and nephews, Michael Neary and wife Dana of Brookston, IN, Martin Neary and wife Mary of Lincoln, NE, John Neary and wife Tuesday of Arlington, NE, Kathleen Hemmer of Lincoln, NE and Megan Malmberg and husband Christopher of Millard, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents.Funeral Information Graveside services for Rozanne will be held Saturday, September 19, at 12:00 p.m. at the SS Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery in Atlantic.
