Wilma L. Robinson
Wilma Lora (Watson) Robinson, 92, longtime resident of Lewis, IA, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at the Heritage House in Atlantic, Iowa. She was born June 29, 1914, west of Lewis, IA, the daughter of William and Minnie Mae (Graham) Watson. The Watson family lived in Lewis until Wilma was three years old and then homesteaded in South Dakota until she was 15 when they returned to Lewis. Wilma went to Lewis High School and graduated with the class of 1931.. December 12, 1933, Wilma Watson was married to Frank Robinson west of Omaha, NE. The couple raised two children and she then attended and graduated from Barnes Beauty School in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She opened "Wilma"s Beauty Shop&" in her home where she practiced cosmetology for a number of years. She was also a long time member of Eastern Star in Lewis and UCMC and enjoyed being a member of clubs and associations in Lewis. She enjoyed her grandchildren, her friends and going to coffee and out to eat. Through the years she belonged to several clubs and was close to her church friends and family.She is survived by her son, Bill Robinson and his wife, Joyce of Camdenton, Mo; four grandchildren, Gary Kuntzelman and wife Donna of Omaha, NE, Doug Kuntzelman and wife Brenda of Tulsa, OK, Steve Robinson and wife Sue of Camdenton, MO and Diane Ortwerth and husband Jim of Camdenton, MO; seven great grandchildren, Kris, Megan, Zach, Kyle, Kaitlin, Karena, and Paris; two great-great grandchildren, Chase and Halle; a step grandchild, Sherry Rabe; one sister-in-law, Jessie Watson of Normal, IL; and a number of nieces and nephews.
