Jesse Robinson

Jesse Clair Robinson, age 73, formerly of Atlantic, passed away at the Salem Lutheran Home in Elk Horn, Iowa on Thursday, June 8, 2006.Jesse was born south of Wiota, Iowa on February 1, 1933 to Leslie Warren and Anna Catherine (Ihnken) Robinson. He was raised in the Wiota and Cunberland areas where he attended school. Jesse worked for the Schildberg Construction Company for 29 years. He was married to Barbara Lucille Stillian on February 6, 1960 in Atlantic, Iowa.He is survived by one daughter, Debra Pedersen and husband, Jim of Atlantic, and one son, Leslie Warren Robinson of Omaha, Nebraska; five grandchildren, Jacquelyn and Jeremy Pedersen, Alison Robinson of Atlantic, Iowa, Tyler Robinson of Omaha and Dallas Douglass of Lincoln, Nebraska; two sisters, Annabelle Madsen and husband Dallas of Tipton, Missouri and Geraldine and husband Leslie of Farmer, Missouri.Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Anna/ his wife, Barbara; his step-son, Doug Stillian; one brother, Harvey Robinson and one sister, Dorothy Lull.Graveside services for Jesse will be held Monday, June 12, 2006 at 9:30 A.M. at the Lowman Cemetery south of Griswold.
