Obituary for Rosmarie Reinertson

Rosemarie lived a full and adventurous life the travel plans were a large part of her enjoyment. She and Don made numerous trips to such a various places as Las Vegas, cross country to California and back across to the Eastern Seaboard. They're able to travel abroad to France and Monaco and took several types of cruises, an Alaskan cruise had been one of Rosemarie's favorite. When Rosemarie and Don's oldest daughter Bonnie moved to Australia, they traveled there to. Rosemarie and their youngest daughter, Anne fondly remembers touring Sydney with her mom, seeing the sights and enjoying the local fish and chips from the street vendors. Most of all of Don and Rosemarie his children remember the multiple car trips into Chicago to see Rosemarie's cherished sister, Patricia, and her family for the Christmas Holidays. Then they always looked forward to Aunt Pat and Uncle Rich visiting with the cousins for Easter and summer vacations. Rosemarie always insisted that they stop at the Amana Colonies and have a meal. Rosemarie and Don's last trip was to Ohio for the first grandson, Chad"s wedding September of 2003. Rosemarie was especially pleased to be able to dance a few steps with her son, and Don at the wedding reception. Chad, the son of Laurie and Tim Schroeder, and his bride Jennifer were thankful "Grandma Bunny&" was able to make this trip.Rosemarie had a lifelong bond with nature. She loved to tend to flowers transplanted from her mother's home in Chicago. The tradition continues with her daughter Kathryn growing lambs years and hosta plants that originated from the same garden. Rosemarie's decorating talents were also evident in her landscaping choices. She had a flair for choosing the right plan for the right rock or statue to express her connection with nature in God. She delighted in the birds that flocked to the full bird feeders in the fresh bird bath. Rosemarie will be dearly missed by family and friends. As your granddaughter, Molly Hunsinger wrote, "Grandma Bunny, I love you more than wind loves air&".Funeral Information
