Lou Ratzlaff

Lou Ann Ratzlaff, 39, of Atlantic, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2001, at her home.The daughter of Richard and Hazel Rowennna (Barringer) Ratzlaff, she was born April 21, 1962 in Pella, Iowa. She was reared in Atlantic and attended the Atlantic School System. She was united in marriage to Jeff Stevens. Lou Ann worked for a number of years for Breadeaux Pizza.Surviving are her children, Danny Edwards, Sean Stevens, Rebecca Stevens and Emily Ratzlaff all of Atlantic; her parents Richard Ratzlaff of Colter, Iowa and Rowenna Ratzlaff of Atlantic, Iowa; five brothers, Richard Merlin Ratzlaff, Jr. of the state of Washington, David Ratzlaff and his wife, Judy, of Hampton, Iowa, Larry Razlaff of Harlan, Iowa, Bruce Ratzlaff and his wife, Debbi, of Manchester Iowa, Thomas Ratliff and his wife, Tina, of Hampton, Iowa; two sisters, Linda Sedelmeier of Kalispell, Montana and Tammy Pringnitz of Austin, Texas; her maternal grandmother, Bess Barringer of Atlantic, Iowa; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, including an aunt, Betty Mauk, of Atlantic.She was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Allen Ratzlaff; her maternal grandfather, John Barringer; and her paternal grandparents, Fred and Dorothy Ratzlaff.Funeral InformationFuneral services for Lou Ann were held Tuesday, May 29, 2001, at 1:30 PM in the Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic, Iowa with Reverend Guy Fisher officiating.Interment was in the Southlawn Memory Gardens in Atlantic.
