Randy Roberts

Randy Roberts, 64, of Linn Grove, Iowa, died Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at his home.

The son of Glenn Wycoff and Evonia Marie (Kjar) Roberts, Randy Lee was born on February 28, 1961, in Audubon County, Iowa. During his early years, he grew up on a farm near Anita and attended school in Anita. He later moved with his family to Atlantic and provided labor for farms and light manufacturing jobs in and around Cass County. He lived in the Atlantic area until age thirty, when he relocated to Buena Vista County, Iowa.

He always loved the outdoors and kept himself busy hunting and trapping, mostly locally. He will be remembered as a free spirit.

Randy is survived by two sisters, LaVonne (Steve, d.) Nichols, Angela (Rod) Reed, both of Des Moines, Iowa; four nieces, Teresa (Virgil) Woods of Crete, Illinois, Deanna Nichols of Des Moines, Patty (Jud) Van Weelden of Waukee, Iowa and Mary Nichols of Des Moines; two nephews, K.C. Reed and T.J. Reed both of Des Moines; many beloved cousins and friends, including his girlfriend, Renee Klatt of Linn Grove, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents; infant sister, LaDonna Roberts; and brother-in-law, Steve Nichols.

A private burial will be held at the Exira Cemetery, Exira, Iowa.

Memorial may be made to Zion Lutheran Church in Atlantic, Iowa.
