Daraline Prall

DARALINE B. PRALL Daraline B. Prall, 83, life long resident of Atlantic, passed away Sunday, May 25, at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. Daraline Prall was born the daughter of George and Mable (Smith) Meek in Anita, Iowa on January 24, 1925. She attended school in Atlantic. Daraline was married to Robert Wilson Prall on August 15, 1946 in Troy Kansas. The couple raised two sons and two daughters. She was employed with Swift and Blue Star and more recently, eighteen years with Atlantic Care Center. Her family will remember her as a loving mother and grandmother. Daraline is survived by her sons, Donald E. Prall and wife Pam of Atlantic and Rick Prall and wife Cathy of Anita; daughters, Sheryl Waters and husband Frank of Cumberland and Colette Sparks and husband Jeff of Red Oak; 14 grandchildren, Paul Prall, Stacia Pross, Heather Prall, Jody Steffen, Christina Langel, Todd Waters, Jonathon Waters, Wendy Wright, Matthew Prall, Sarah Prall, Jennifer Mastin, Brandy Sparks, Robert Beals and Jeffrey Sparks; 24 great grandchildren; one great, great grandson; her sister-in-law Elberta Frank of Atlantic and nieces and nephews.Funeral InformationHer funeral has been set for 11:00 in the morning on Wednesday, May 28 at Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic. The interment will be in the Atlantic Cemetery in Atlantic. Pastor Gary DeGeest of First United Methodist Church of Atlantic will officiate. There will be open visitation and at 10:00 A.M. (one hour prior to the funeral) family will meet with relatives and friends also at Rolands". Roland Funeral Home of Atlantic is caring for Daraline"s family and the arrangements.
