Beverly J. Post
BEVERLY J. POST Beverly Post, 72, of Cumberland, passed away at the Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic, Iowa on Friday evening, February 29, 2008. Beverly Post was born the daughter of Donald Nellis and Edna Kenkennon in Earlham, Iowa on November 8, 1935. She attended school in Perry, Earlham and Peru, IA. Beverly was married to Franklin Glenn Post on October 16, 1958 in Winterset, Iowa. The couple"s greatest joy was being blessed with three children. She loved spending time with her children and husband when she had spare time from her nursing. She worked for eleven years as an NA in Mayville and Stuartsville, Missouri. As a Christian, Bev"s faith was in Christ. She loved collecting dolls, garage sales, and going to auctions. Her hobbies also included working puzzles and doing crosswords. She loved decorating at Halloween times, when she enjoyed scaring people and Christmases, when she and the family sang carols together. The family will remember that her sister tells on her ~ about when she was growing up, when it was Beverly"s turn to do dishes, she would sneak off and go hide. She is survived by her husband Franklin; a son Tim Post of Cumberland, IA; two daughters Julie Lohr of Chariton, IA and Tammie Post of Spokane, WA; her sister Marilyn Walker of Milliken, CO; brothers Dale Nellis of Kansas City, MO and Claude Nellis of Des Moines, IA; ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
