Doris Perdue

DORIS M. PERDUE Doris Mae Perdue, age 105, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at the Atlantic Nursing and Rehab Center in Atlantic, Iowa. Doris was born on November 16, 1902 to Bert and Lennie (Sinkey) Bowling at Iron Hill, Iowa. Doris attended school in Cedar Rapids and after graduation, she trained as a beautician. She was a beautician for over forty years and had her own shop in Griswold when she was married to Harry Perdue. She is survived by a son Duane DeWitt in Oklahoma and a step-son Larry Perdue of Griswold. Doris is preceded in death by husbands, Clarence DeWitt and Harry Perdue; parents, Bert and Lennie Bowling.Funeral InformationGraveside services for Doris will be held at 10:00 AM at the Whipple Cemetery west of Griswold on Friday, September 19, 2008. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations may be made to the Atlantic Animal Shelter.
