DENISE DIANE PEARSON Denise Diane Pearson, 62, of Brandon, Mississippi, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 15, 2009. Denise was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the daughter of Hilton and Norma Held Corderman. She was raised in Ottumwa and Griswold, Iowa. She moved to Mississippi in 1984. Denise adored spending time with her family and was an avid reader, gardener and bargain shopper. She also enjoyed yoga and touring with her husband on their Harley Davidson motorcycle. She will be remembered most by her family as a cherished wife, loving mother, devoted grandmother and a friend to all who met her. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Pearson; daughter Bobbette Lang and her husband David Lang, stepsons, James Pearson and Jeff Pearson, daughter-in-law Penny Pearson; and grandchildren, Hannah Lang, John Nicholas, Angela and her husband Jordan Evans, Jamie Pearson, Jessica Pearson, Samantha Pearson, and Jake Pearson; and two great-grandchildren, Brianna and Derek Evans.Denise was preceded in death by her parents and her grandson Ethan Lang.Funeral InformationThere will be a Visitation at 12 Noon Wednesday February 18, 2009 at Ascension Lutheran Church in Jackson before a 2:00 pm Funeral Service. Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Ridgeland is handling first arrangements in Jackson, MIssissippi. Other services will be take place at Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic, Iowa. There will be open visitation from 8 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, February 20th and Saturday until Denise's family will meet with friends from 12:00 o'clock noon to 2:00 P.M. when there will be a funeral service. Directly following, the committal service will be held in the Griswold Cemetery in Griswold, Iowa.
