Obituary for Zetta M. Moller

ZETTA M. MOLLERZetta Mae (Johnson) Moller, age 80, resident of Lewis, Iowa, passed on at the Griswold Care Center in Griswold, Iowa on February 7, 2008.She was born the daughter of John and Stella Johnson May 17, 1927 at New Castle, Nebraska. Zetta was a graduate of the New Castle High School Class of May 17, 1946. She was baptized on April 1, 1956. Zetta was a member of the United Congregational Methodist Church in Lewis where she served in evangelism for many years. She enjoyed sending get well and sympathy cards; she loved country western music; and was endeared to her many friends. Zetta loved children, the color red, and loved to play tricks on people. She especially liked gum and ice cream. She was an avid collector of cardinal figures about which she was known to say, "They are pretty birds that God has in his garden.&" Zetta married Alfred Moller on August 30, 1945. The couple had a memorable vacation in Hawaii for their 25th wedding anniversary. Following their trip, they celebrated the anniversary back at home in the United Congregational Methodist Church in Lewis. She is survived by a son, Larry and wife Marla, of Griswold, IA; a son, Arnold, of Mentone, CA; a daughter, Lois Epperson and husband Greg of Fort Smith, Arkansas; grandchildren, Michael Moller of Griswold, IA, Christopher (Mauk) Moller of Cheyenne, WY, Sonya Dill of Van Buren, AR, Corey Dill of Springdale, AR, Todd Dill of Fort Smith, AR, Christina Bird and husband, Charles of Avoca, IA, and Shalia, Haley and Austin Bird of Avoca, IA; great granddaughters, Tabithia and Alexandria Dill of Springdale, AR; great grandsons, Connor and Stacey of Avoca, IA and Stacy, James, Phillip, Lee, Jeffery and Dalton Sheridan of Van Buren, AR; brothers Delbert Johnson of Atlantic, IA and Leroy Johnson of Sioux City, IA; and many cousins and nieces.Zetta was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred; her parents; three brothers, Virgil, Gayl and Robert; two sisters, June Johnson and Agatha Smith.Funeral InformationHer funeral will be at Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, February 11. The family will meet with friends for visitation at 9:00 A.M. prior to service time on Monday morning. Pastor Tinker of United Congregational Methodist Church in Lewis, Iowa will officiate. The committal service will be in the Oakwood Cemetery near Lewis. Roland Funeral Home is caring for Zetta"s family and the arrangements.
