Lenora Cecelia Moeller
Lenora Cecelia Moeller, 87, of Atlantic passed away January 1, 2001, at the Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic. The daughter of Nels and Laura Fredricksen Juelsgaard, Lenora was born November 27,1913 in Shelby County, south of Elk Horn, Iowa. She was baptized and confirmed in the Elk Horn Lutheran Church. She finished eighth grade at Clay Township Country School. Lenora married Walter C. Moeller September 29, 1937 in the Elk Horn Lutheran Church. She was a housewife and lived north of Marne all her married life, retiring to Atlantic in 1982. She loved to dance and play cards. She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Atlantic, a 50-year member of Marne Chapter #230 Order of the Eastern Star and a 50 year member of the Gay Gimgham Girls Club.Surviving are her son, Daryle Moeller and his wife, Connie, of Marne, Iowa; two grandchildren, Devin D. Moeller and his wife, Leona, of Marne, Iowa, Darcey Hart and her husband, Chad, of Calvin, Oklahoma; two great-grandchildren, Ashley and Austin Moeller; a brother, Norman Juelsgaard and his wife, Verda, of Elk Horn, Iowa; and a number of nieces and nephews.Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Walter, who died in 1991; a sister, Diana M.
