LULA "LOU&" MAE MILNER Lula "Lou&" Mae Milner, 93, of Atlantic, Iowa, a former Elliott resident, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2008, at the Heritage House in Atlantic. Lou was the daughter of Evan and Amanda Edwards. She was born on August 10, 1915 and attended school in Red Oak, Iowa. She was married to Gerald Milner, who passed away in 1987. Lou was a member of the Church of Christ in Elliott and attended the First United Methodist Church in Atlantic. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Mewhirter and husband, Joe, of Atlantic, IA and a son, Jerry Milner and wife, Sharlene, of Montrose, CO; five grandchildren, Jeff Mewhirter and wife, Deanna, of North Lake, TX, Cheryl Barry of Atlantic, IA, Kim Wagoner and husband, George, of Atlantic, IA, Spencer Milner and wife, Chan, of Montrose, CO and Darcy Garrison and husband, Jack, of Montrose, CO; fourteen great-grandchildren, Ashley and Amy Deboard, Taylor and Nick Barry, Melanie and Natalie Stoural, Stefanie Gross and husband, Matt, Rachelle Wagoner, Halli Smith, Nevada Casias, Cutter and Cade Garrison and Max and Tana Milner; five great-great-grandchildren, Ethan and Alex Stoural, Owen and Isaac Henson and Gentry Casias; several nieces and nephews. Lou is preceded in death by her husband; an infant son, Robert; ten brothers, Harold, LeRoy, Jim, Vernon, Ervin, Delbert, Arnold, Dean, Richard and Junior Edwards and one sister, Gladys Pedersen.Funeral InformationServices for Lou will be held at the Roland Funeral Home on Saturday, September 6, at 10:30 A.M. with Pastor Gary DeGeest of the First United Methodist Church in Atlantic officiating.
