Paul McGovern

Paul F. McGovern, 72, passed away September 6, 2013. The son of John and Lenora McGovern, he was born March 25, 1941 in Atlantic, Iowa. Paul graduated from Wiota High School. He attended Business School in Omaha, Nebraska and served proudly in the US Air Force. He was united in marriage to Ellen Farrell McGovern August 1, 1964 in Omaha, Nebraska. Paul lived by his rule of hard work and dedication to his beliefs. He was a lifetime salesman starting out in the paint and varnish business. Paul leaves us with many fond memories from his travels, extravagant BBQ's with family and friends and family trips. He adored his daughter, Cindy Kay McGovern.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen Kay McGovern of Las Vegas, Nevada; his daughter, Cindy Kay McGovern and future son-in-law Edward Kornegay, Jr. of Carrollton, Texas; a brother, Robert McGovern and his wife, LaVada of Apple Valley, Minnesota; a sister, Mary Ann Moorman and her husband Ken of Atlantic, Iowa; and families of Ann Koeniguer, Susan Kelly, Sally McCarty, Jarett McGovern, LaChel Hird, James Farrell, Jay Farrell and Francis McGovern.
