Connie Marshall

Connie Ann Marshall, 43, a resident of Lewis, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2001, at the Atlantic Nursing and Rehab Center.The daughter of Merrill Freemen and Mary Ann (Knutsen) Petty, she was born January 7, 1958 in Atlantic where she attended high school and Iowa Western. She was united in marriage to Michael Marshall. Later she married Ernie Camp on December 23, 1994, in Las Vegas. Connie attended Lamoni Truck Driving School and was a certified truck driver.Connie is survived by her husband, Ernie; two sons, Jebediah F. Marshall and special friend, Tanya Heckman, of Atlantic and Kelly Marshall of Anita; a daughter, Meradith A. Marshall, of Anita; two grandchildren, Kevin M. Marshall of Carroll, Iowa and Morganne A. Cameron of Anita; her father, Merrill Petty of the Exira Care Center; two sisters, June Anderson and her companion, Rodney, and Anna Lummus and her husband, Larry, of Atlantic; one brother, Mel Petty of Firth, Nebraska; a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her mother; her maternal grandparents, Alfred and Christina Knutson; and her paternal grandparents, Albert and Madeline Petty.Funeral InformationServices for Connie were held Tuesday, July 24, 2001, at 10:30AM at the Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic, Iowa with Pastor Allen D. Hellwege of Zion Lutheran Church officiating. Interment was in the Southlawn Memory Gardens south of Atlantic, Iowa.
