Heath Malley

Heath Alan Malley, a resident of Atlantic, IA, passed away early Sunday, September 21, 2003, at his residence in Atlantic at the age of 27.Heath was born December 29, 1975 to David and Brenda (Obermeier) Malley at the Cass County Memorial Hospital. He graduated from the Atlantic High School in 1994 and attended Iowa Western Community College. Heath was a machine set-up operator at Glacier Daido America LLC. He was president of the Atlantic Chapter of the Flaming Knights Motorcycle Club and was a member of ABATE.He is survived by his parents; two sisters, Kristi Sunberg and Samantha Malley at home; maternal grandmother Beverly Obermeier from Audubon; paternal grandfather Charles Malley from Mississippi; aunt Donita Elliott and husband Bob of Bedford, TX; aunt Lorraine Haberi and husband Bob of Rockwell City; aunt Valerie Clary and husband Dan of Louisville, TX; aunt Janine Glidden of Audubon, IA, uncle Charles T. Malley and wife of Coronado, CA, aunt Mary Heinritz of Littleton, CO, aunt Janet David of North Hills, CA, uncle Blaine Malley of Bogalusa, LA, uncle Ken Malley of Kentucky; great aunt Jeanette Schrum of Atlantic, IA, great uncle Laverne Obermeier and wife Rosalie of Wiota, IA; great uncle Frank Obermeier Jr. and wife Betty of Audubon, IA; great uncle LeRoy Obermeier and wife Jean of Audubon, IA; great aunt Darlene Williamson of Audubon, IA; great aunt Violet Tucker of Eldon, MO; great aunt Fern Parkhurse of Harlan, IA; great uncle Darold Kroger and wife Betty of Utah; great aunt Darlene Hansen and husband John Sr. of Audubon, IA; great aunt Marilyn Anderson and husband Jerry of Harlan, IA and numerous friends.Heath was preceded in death by his grandfather Donald Obermeier; his grandmother Doris Malley and an Uncle Michael Malley.Funeral InformationMemorial services will be Wednesday, September 24, 2003, at 10:30 A.M. at Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic with Reverend Dan Hudson of Des Moines, IA officiating.There will be no formal visitation, however, friends and relatives may come to the funeral home to sign the guest register book. Final disposition will be cremation. Honorary pall bearers are Jeremy Ecklin, Brian Carlson, Kevin Elliott, Dave Gatrel, Dan Grover, Jamie Stewart, John Schwarte, Aaron Bates and Doug Kelly.
