David Malley

David James Malley, 48, of Atlantic, passed away early Sunday morning, October 31, 2004 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.Dave was born in Champaign, Illinois on January 8, 1956, the son of Charles and Doris (Hershbarger) Malley. He grew up in Griswold, Iowa and attended Griswold High School. He had been employed with Henningsen Construction and Curtis Welding and Fabrication. He was presently employed as a construction supervisor at Concept Builders of Atlantic.On July 3, 1986, Dave was married to Brenda Louise Obermeier in Atlantic. The couple was blessed with three children. David was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, deer hunting and boating. He also enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family and friends.Dave is survived by his wife, Brenda; two daughters, Samantha Malley and Kristi Sunberg; his father, Charles Malley of Bogalusa, LA; three brothers, Charles T. Malley and wife Cathy of Bremerton, WA, Ken Malley of Kentucky and Blaine Malley of Bogalusa, LA; two sisters, Mary Heinritz and husband Jim of Littleton, CO and Janet Davis of Branson, MO.
