Norma M. Madsen
Norma Mae Madsen, 77, longtime resident of Atlantic, Iowa, died Monday, December 20, 2004. She was born May 1, 1927 in Atlantic, the daughter of Harry and Florence (Ayers) Paulson. Norma was raised in Bucktown and attended Grant School here. She was married to Emmert C. Madsen on February 26, 1946. Norma was a terrific decorator, homemaker and loving mother of seven children. Her family was everything to her. Family and friends were warmed by her cheerful, joyous, and giving heart. Her coffee pot was always on.She is survived by her children; Sandy Luke (Chud) of Atlantic, Penelope Jensen (Herluf) of Des Moines, DeWayne Madsen (Brenda) of Lewis, Allen Madsen (Peggy) of Atlantic, Vickie Keeney (Scott) of Griswold, Kimberly Foresman (Dean) of Atlantic and Sally Richter (Gary) of Atlantic; a sister, Mary Jane Pross; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
