Lois Isabelle Lundeen
LOIS ISABELLE LUNDEEN Lois Isabelle Lundeen of Atlantic, formerly of Minnesota, passed away at Heritage House in Atlantic on September 23, 2010, at the age of 80. Lois was born February 5, 1930, in St. Peter, Minnesota, the daughter of George Emil Joshua Rydeen and Elsie Caroline (Nelson) Rydeen. She attended the schools in St. Peter graduating from the St. Peter High School. She was employed at the Edina, Minnesota public schools in food service as a cook and baker for 22 years. She became the head baker before retiring in 1988. She was united in marriage to Clyde Ferdinand Lundeen on February 10, 1951, in St. Peter and they lived in Bloomington, Minnesota. Clyde passed away on March 15, 2003. Surviving Lois are a daughter, Debra Pellett, and husband, Mark, of Atlantic, IA; grandchildren, Joshua Pellett and wife, Nicole, of Waukee, IA and Megan Ware and husband, Manny, of Bloomington, MN; a brother, Wesley Rydeen and wife, Harriet, of St. Peter, MN; sisters-in-law, Doris Lundeen of St. Croix Falls, WI and Vivian Frets of Cloquet, MN; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde; a son, Robert Lundeen; parents, George and Elsie Rydeen; brothers and sister-in-law, Burt Frets, Virgil Lundeen and Wilbur and Jeannette Adamscheck.Funeral InformationServices for Lois will be held on Tuesday, September 28 at House of Prayer Lutheran Church in Richfield, MN with the interment in Fort Snelling Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. Morris Nilsen Funeral Home in Richfield, MN and Roland Funeral Service in Atlantic, IA and are assisting with the arrangements.
