As a young boy Loyd received the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior.  For over 32 years, Loyd served as an elder for Council Bluffs Bible Chapel, later attended Atlantic Gospel Chapel and presently attended Great Adventure Church in Dubuque.  Loyd enjoyed vacationing with his family in Estes Park, CO and his hobbies included woodworking, painting, and gardening. He built several beautiful furniture pieces and created many paintings for his family to enjoy!
