Alice Logue
ALICE MAY (STORMER) LOGUE Alice Logue, 84, long time resident of Atlantic, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at the Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic. Alice was born the daughter of Myron O. and Cuma (Lane) Stormer in Atlantic on May 3, 1924. She grew up attending Grant, Jackson and Atlantic High School in Atlantic. Alice was married to Wayne Aubrey Logue on June 17, 1942 in Omaha, Nebraska. The couple raised a daughter and a son. Following the children"s graduations, Alice worked at Husker News where she was employed from 1963 to 1988. Her remembrance will be as a wonderful spouse and mother and the family will recall how independent and loving she was. She made camping and fishing trips more fun and they will treasure the embroidered dish towels she made as gifts and keepsakes. Alice"s survivors include her husband Wayne; her daughter Betty Eberspacher of Atlantic; her son Dallas Logue and his wife Darlo of Atlantic; Grandchildren, Debbie Harmsen of Lake View, OH, Daniel Logue of Lincloln, NE, Darin Logue and wife Kari of Rapid City, SD ; great grandchildren, Summer Logue of Rapid City, SD , Kami Logue of Rapid City, SD, Danica Logue of Rapid City, SD; her brother Frank Stormer and his wife Ruth of McAlester OK; great great grandson Caiden Logue (son of Summer Logue) of Rapid City, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Cuma and Myron Stormer and her sister Rosemary Flathers.Funeral InformationThe family will meet with relatives and friends for a visitation from 7:00 to 8:00 on Friday evening, May 23, at Roland Funeral Home. There will be a grave-side service at the Oakwood Cemetery in Lewis, Iowa at 10:30 on Saturday morning, May 24. Pastor Chuck Smith will officiate.
