Linda Lee Kimball

Linda Lee Kimball, 75, of Atlantic, Iowa, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2025, at her home, after a nearly five year battle with cancer, in which she displayed unwavering grace, extraordinary strength and maintained her dignity.

Linda Lee was born on August 6, 1949, in Atlantic, Iowa, the daughter of Roger Dean and Betty Jane (Rowe) Kimball. She grew up on what is now the Kimball Century Farm, near Brayton. Linda graduated from Exira High School Class of 1967.

She was a barber for 55 years, world traveler, independent woman (which she was extremely proud of), and avid gardener who lived life to the fullest each day.

Linda’s kind, sweet and easy-going spirit will be deeply missed and her memory will live on in those that were closest, her loving sons, Darrin Kimball and Larry Coles.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Betty Kimball; sister, Karen Riesberg; and brother, Bill Kimball.

A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 25th at Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic.
