Dorthea Keller

Dorothy Keller, 81, passed on at the Atlantic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Atlantic, Iowa Friday evening, January 14, 2005.Dorothy was born in Minden. November 7, 1923, the daughter of Walter and Ella (Woltmann) Schroeder. She was raised and schooled in the Lewis area and graduated from Lewis High School. Dorothy married Arlie Ransome Keller August 25, 1943 in Omaha NE. They made their home near Walnut where she was a wonderful mother of six children, enjoyed homemaking, and was a member of the Peace United Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband Arlie of Atlantic; her daughters, Juanita Kise and husband Kenneth of Ankeny, Patricia Follmann and husband Larry of Massena, Linda Schade and husband John of Hardy, Barbara Figgins and husband Robert of Brayton, Connie Scott and husband John of Sidney; her son Arlie E. Keller of Brayton; grandchildren and great grandchildren Kenneth Kise Jr., Gregory and Jennifer Kise and Aidan, Rebecca and John Crawley, Colin, Evan and Kaylyn, Brett and Jennifer Figgins and Ella, Amy and Shane Glover, Maia and Hailey, Michael and Jennifer Follmann, Kris and Randy Spears, Diana and Mike Vasa, Dr. Stephen and Andrea Scott and Melissa and Salem Thyne; brothers Dexter A. Schroeder and wife Jean of Harlan, Lloyd F. Schroeder of Rockaway Beach, MO, and Howard D. Schroeder and wife Harriet of Inver Grove Heights, MN, and a number of nieces and nephews.Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; her brother and sister-in-law, Ivan W.
