Obituary for Beulah B. Kaiser

Beulah Belle (Hayter) Kaiser was born February 4, 1912 at her grandmother Gochanour"s home in Anita to Henry Lewis and Blanche Eva (Gochanour) Hayter. She grew up on a small farm 4 miles northwest of Anita, and graduated from AHS in 1929, then worked as a "mother"s helper&" in Atlantic for some years. On March 24, 1938, Beulah was married to Edwin Charles Kaiser. They farmed southeast of Lewis until moving to Atlantic in 1991. They were members of Fletcher Chapel Methodist Church until it"s closing, when they joined the First United Methodist Church of Atlantic. After 62 years of marriage, Edwin passed away January 5, 2001. Beulah spent her last years at the Colonial Manor in Anita, pleased to have returned to her hometown. Beulah enjoyed music, and was so proud of her granddaughter"s piano talents. A highlight in her life was the years she harmonized with her sisters as the "Hayter Girls&", entertaining at get-togethers. In her last years she pleased listeners with her piano playing of some of the 200+ hymns and songs she knew by ear. This year Beulah celebrated her 95th birthday, outliving her four siblings: 1 older brother, Paul Layle Hayter, and three younger sisters; Hester Laverne Dorsey-Lund, Marilyn Jean Lantz-Hoffert, and Betty Lou Claussen.Beulah is survived by her son Norman and wife Shirley of rural Massena; granddaughter Dori Jane Reno and husband Paul; Great-grandsons Anthony Kaiser and Aaron Thomas Reno, all of Paxton, IL; and a number of in-laws, nieces, and nephews.Funeral InformationIN MEMORY OFBeulah KaiserBorn February 4, 1912DATE OF DEATHSunday, August 5, 2007At the age of95 years, 6 months, 1 dayFUNERAL SERVICESaturday, August 11, 2007Roland Funeral HomeAtlantic, IowaOFFICIATINGPastor Gary DeGeestFirst United Methodist Church ~ Atlantic, IAMUSICAL SELECTIONS"Amazing Grace&" - Congregation"Beyond the Sunset&" - Organist"Beulah Land&" - Dori Kaiser RenoORGANISTMarlene DeGeestBEARERSGary Lantz Dan Darrow Tim Crown David ClaussenTerry Claussen Randy Claussen Jeff Kinzie Stanley Kinzie HONORARY BEARERSNancy Darrow Carolyn Crown Lela Lank Karen BellMarty Kinzie Valerie Robbins BJ KinzieSherry Kramer Pauline HuszINTERMENT Atlantic Cemetery ~ Atlantic, IowaLUNCHEONBeulah"s family invites friends to join them for a luncheon at the First United Methodist Church follow the committal service.
