Wayland Johnson

Wayland Johnson, 86, of Anita, Iowa, entered into rest Wednesday, March 1, 2006, at the Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic.He was born July 12, 1919, the son of Walter and Jessie Johnson in the Atlantic area. He lived in the Grisworld and Lyman area with his mother and father until 1959. Wayland farmed most of his life. In his later years he did a lot of garden work for area people with his Ford tractor. He then moved to Anita and lived the remainder of his life on his farm until it was necessary for him to reside in the Anita Colonial Manor in Anita.Wayland is survived by a sister, Lucille Straight, of Atlantic and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
