KIMBERLY J. JOHNSON Kimberly Johnson, 54, of Atlantic, passed away at the Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic, IA on Friday, September 12, 2008, following a courageous battle against cancer. Kimberly was born on August 3, 1954 to George and Helen Mae (Green) Dill in Atlantic, IA. Kimberly was then united in marriage to Ron Johnson on July 17, 1981 at the Brayton Lutheran Church in Brayton, IA.. Kimberly was known for her strong work ethic and was dedicated in her 20+ years of work for the Atlantic News Telegraph as their Financial Manager. In addition to her strong work ethic, Kimberly was also known for her enjoyment of socializing with family, friends and co-workers. Kimberly took numerous trips around Iowa and the Midwest and she loved her family. Other interests included bowling, gardening and renovating the family home. Kimberly is survived by: her husband Ron Johnson of Atlantic; her daughters Wyndi Adams of Webster City, Heidi Johnson of Adair and her fiance" Cale McClain of Adair, Emilie Johnson of Des Moines' Jordie Johnson of Atlantic, step-son Jeremy (Heather) Johnson of Beaver Dam, WI; brothers/sisters, Larry (Opal) Dill of Portland, OR, Gale (June) Dill of Seiversville, TN, Randy (Barb) Dill of Atlantic, Georgia Jessen of Anita, Mona Ballinger of Atlantic, Vicki (Bob) Langfelt of Massena, Michelle (Ron) Jessen of Greenfield; sister-in-laws Marilyn Dill of Webster City; and Betty Johnson of Avoca; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Helen Dill, brother Ron Dill, father-in-law Palmer Johnson, mother-in-law Myrtle Johnson, and brothers-in-law Andrew Johnson, Jerry Johnson, Gailyn Jessen, and Rex Ballinger.Funeral InformationServices for Kimberly will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Tuesday, September 16th, at the Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic with Reverend Nancy Jensen officiating.
