Marjorie Jensen

Marjorie Ann Jensen, 65, of rural Atlantic, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2002 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.The daughter of Clarence John Scott and Violet Louise Richardson, she was born on August 5, 1936 in Carroll, Iowa. Marjorie graduated from the Coon Rapids High School in Coon Rapids, Iowa and went on to take a year of business school in Omaha. She was united in marriage to Norman Jensen in Coon Rapids. Except for a few years in Missouri Valley, Spencer, Glidden and Treynor, Iowa, she lived most of her life in Atlantic. Marjorie retired in 1997 after a twenty-five year career with Job Service of Iowa. She was a member of B.P.W. and the Hospital Auxiliary.Marjorie is survived by one son, Jay Jensen and wife Amber of Atlantic; one grandson, Daniel Jensen of Arkansas; two sisters, Karen Fullerton of Atlantic and Jo Ann Nielsen of Anita; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Reginald Tuel; one brother, Wayne Scott; two sons, Jay St. Clair and Jeffery Clayton, both in infancy; one nephew, David Nielsen; and two brothers-in-law, Emerett Nielsen and John Fullerton.Funeral InformationServices for Marjorie will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2002, at the Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic, Iowa at 10:00 A.M. Rev. Allen Hellwege of the Zion Lutheran Church in Atlantic will officiate. Interment will be in the Atlantic Cemetery.
