Jeff Wissler

Jeffrey Lynn Wissler passed away at his home on May 5, 2022, at the age of 60.  He was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on August 27, 1961, the son of Jack and Dellene (Lindblom) Wissler, and later baptized.  The family relocated to Avoca in 1975.  Jeff graduated from Avo-Ha High School in the Class of 1980.  He was an avid gun lover who enjoyed buying and selling guns, and most weekends he could be found at a gun show or auction.

Jeff is survived by his parents, Jack and Dellene Wissler of Avoca; brother, Jim (Lisa) of Wall Lake; nephews, Joel (special friend, Sharday) of Carroll, Justin (Jennifer) of Waterloo; and great- nephews and niece, Bennet and Madisyn of Waterloo and Jared (fiancé, Shelby) of St. Paul.

He is preceded in death by his uncle, Richard Lindblom and his grandparents, Glen and Frieda Lindblom, Irene Wissler and Leo Wissler.

Visitation with the family present will begin at 9:30 a.m., Monday, May 9^th at Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic.  We will begin processing from the funeral home to the Evergreen Cemetery in Anita at 11:00 a.m.  A graveside service will begin at the Evergreen Cemetery in Anita at approximately 11:30 a.m., Monday.         

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed the family for designation at a later date.
