MARILYN SUE JACKSONMarilyn Sue Jackson, 67, of Atlantic, Iowa passed away at the Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha on Tuesday, July 22, 2008.Marilyn Sue Jackson was born February 13, 1941 to Charles Edmon Ross Jr. and Elsie Marie (Baker) Ross in Keota, Oklahoma. She grew up in Oklahoma and graduated from the Stigler High School there. Marilyn later moved to California where she lived in Napa Valley, Bakersfield and Farmersville. In 1979 she moved to Woodriver, Nebraska and then in 1981 she moved to Iowa followed in 1994 by a move to Atlantic. On January 28, 1986 Marilyn was united in marriage to James Henry Jackson in Las Vegas, Nevada. Marilyn will be remembered for doing things the way she wanted with love and for the beautiful Indian jewelry she made along with the great way she like to cook.She is survived by her son Rick Ross of Atlantic; a daughter Darla Frisbie and husband Steven of Atlantic; a brother Danny Ross and wife C.C. of Visailia, CA.; seven grandchildren, Emily Watson and husband Eric of Atlantic, Charles Lefeber of Olathe, Kansas, Anthony Lefeber of Atlantic, Tiffany Blevins of Atlantic, Jazmine Blevins of Atlantic, Tyler Ross of Atlantic, Melinda Palmer of Nebraska; three great grandchildren, Grace Lefeber and Kyle Watson of Atlantic and Miciah Nohrman of Nebraska.She is preceded in death by her parents; former husband David Turk; second husband Jim Jackson; a stillborn son Donny Wayne Turk; a brother Tommy Ross and a nephew Douglas Ross.Funeral InformationServices for Marilyn will be held on Saturday, July 26, at the Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic at 10:30 AM with interment in the Atlantic Cemetery.
