James Jackson

James (Jim) Henry Jackson, 71, of Atlantic, Iowa, passed away Monday, November 12, 2001, at the Cass County Memorial Hospital.The son of Archie and Mae (Bennett) Jackson, Jim was born April 20, 1930 in Walters, Oklahoma. He grew up in Visalia, California. His marriage to Marilyn Ross took place January 18, 1986 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Surviving are his wife Marilyn of Atlantic; two daughters, JoAnn Bullard of Shafter, California and Mary Smith of the state of Washington; one stepson Ricky Ross of Atlantic; one stepdaughter Darla Blevins and husband Michael of Atlantic; eleven grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and siblings, Luella Vails of Marysville, CA, Ruby Clemons of Florida, RB Jackson of Alaska, and Vernon Ray Jackson of Visalia, CA.

He was preceded in deaath by his parents; one daughter Sherrie Jackson; brother, John and Allen Jackson and one sister, Rosamae "Sis" Vails.

A graveside service will be held for Jim on Saturday, November 17, 2001, at 3:00 PM at the Atlantic Cemetery in Atlantic, Iowa with Pastor Guy Somers of the First Assembly of God Church in Atlantic officiating.
