Stanley O Hoye
Stanley O. Hoye, 89, of Electra, Texas, formerly of Griswold, went to be with his Savior on Saturday, August 6, 2016.
He was born in Winslow, Nebraska, on March 10, 1927, to Otto Frederick Haye and Gertrude Anne (Romberg) Haye. Stan was a member of First Baptist Church of Wichita Falls, and enjoyed his Sunday School class. He was in agriculture all of his life.
Stan is survived by three sons, Terry Hoye and his wife, Colleen of Ooltewah, TN, Forest Hoye of Scotts Valley, CA, and Joseph Hoye and his wife, Galynn of Atlantic, IA; two daughters, Catherine Yunag and her husband, Jim of Sioux Falls, SD and Laurie Murray and her husband, Steve of Wichita Falls, TX; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Laverne (Rothe) Hoye; his parents; a daughter, Sally; and son, James.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 27th, at the Atlantic Evangelical Free Church. Prior to the service the family will gather for burial at Noble Center Cemetery, south of Lyman.
