Obituary for Dona C. Heiman

Dona Heiman, 56, a long time resident of Atlantic, Iowa died Friday, November 25, in her home. Dona was born to Donald Duane and Mary Katherine (Smith) Lancaster, in Sacramento, CA, on November 5, 1949. She received her education at El Camino High School in Sacramento, CA and graduated in 1967. Dona and Robert were married July 30, 1978 at her parent"s home in Sacramento County. Dona worked as a supervisor for Goodwill Corporation for five years in Atlantic. She loved making afghans and teddy bears, and collected Boyd Bears. She was a member of the Q.V.C. Quacker Club. Dona enjoyed going on road trips with Bob and helped him in locating antique radios and televisions. She loved her little dog, Tootsie Belle. Dona"s Christian faith meant a lot to her.She is survived by her husband. Bob; a son, Michael West and his wife, D'enne and grandson, Matthew of Hillsboro, OR; step children, Stuart Hatch of Hemet, CA, Starlin Patrick and husband, Dennis and their children, Steven and Shannon of Salinas, CA, Tamyra Gangwer and her children, Richard, Coty, Jacob and Nate of Rancho Cordona, CA; sisters, Colleen Lancaster of Rancho Cordona, CA and Georgia Hagstrom and her husband , Dave and their children, Sara Reedy, Ben and Candy Hagstrom of Carmicheal, CA; her mother-in-law, Naomi McClean of Council Bluffs, IA; brothers-in-law, Charles Heiman of Council Bluffs and Dean Heiman and his wife Rose of Rancho Cordona, CA; aunts Ann Quenell of Eureka, CA and Lois Smith of Placerville, CA; and cousins, Bet Cain of Eureka, CA and Judy Seat of Upper Lake, CA.Dona was preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents and her cousin Quenell.Funeral InformationIN LOVING MEMORY OFDona Charlene HeimanBorn November 5, 1949Sacramento, CaliforniaENTERED INTO REST Friday, November 25, 2005at the age of56 years and 20 daysFUNERAL SERVICEFriday, December 2, 20051:30 P.
