Brandon Harry, 30, of Cumberland, Iowa, died Thursday, May 28, 2020.

He was born on August 25, 1989, at the Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic, Iowa, the son of Laureen Lynae Harry. Brandon was baptized at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Atlantic. He attended Cumberland Massena Community School District until the school merged with Anita and then he attended CAM High School in Anita, Iowa.

Brandon worked various jobs throughout his life in the Atlantic area and most recently worked for Henningsen’s Construction in Atlantic for 3 years before becoming employed at Menard’s Warehouse in Shelby, Iowa. An outdoors man, he loved to go fishing, kayaking, and canoeing down the river. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and repairing them. Brandon was very family oriented and loved to spend time with all of them especially his nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Brandon is survived by his mother, Laureen and husband, Eric Jensen of Cumberland; siblings, Tiffany Lillard of Avoca, Tori Lillard and fiancé, Scottie Yates both of Council Bluffs, Cody and wife, Michelle Lillard of Logan, Danielle and husband, Joe Hadley of Atlantic, Nicole Casey of Atlantic, and Molly Jensen of Atlantic; grandparents, Isaac and Ronda Harry of Atlantic, Bill and Karen Lillard of Atlantic, and Ron Jensen of Exira; step-mother, Elizabeth Lillard of Council Bluffs; aunts and uncles, Colleen and Ed Hamilton of Atlantic, Curt Harry and Theresa Reynolds both of Atlantic, Marci Bergantzel and special friend, Joel Beyenhof of Council Bluffs, Paul and Dani Harry of Lewis, Mary Jensen of Walnut, Christine Jensen and special friend, Chris Hansen both of Audubon, Mike and Nicole Jensen of Lewis, and K.C. and John Calhoun of Adair; nieces and nephews, Mariah and Carter Hadley, Erin Casey, and Lucas “Carl” Carter; and many cousins, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his step-fathers, Chad Nelsen and Stan Lillard; great-grandparents; and cousins in infancy, Jesse and Jared Hamilton, and Miranda Harry.

Open visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m., Friday, June 5, 2020, at Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic, followed by visitation with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Memorials are preferred to the family for a later designation.
A Private Family Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at the Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic.
